Alex - bulb that goes in there is a standard "behind the insrument cluster" one. Ill show you on sunday if youpick one up from halford?

As soon as the gauge touches red should the light come on or when its literally on its ass and no fuel?

You might not have one on your dash. A couple of my Corsa's didn't.

True, mine didn't. Screwed a bulb in, worked fine.
