heard the 1.8 doesnt even contemplate being bought due to it being so heavy its dog slow, do really like the bertones though, and i would have one in the 2.2, easy modded and can look lovely

I have a black 1.8, no leather tho but black cloth is nice enough for me.
Only additions I've added are Turbo 17's, Turbo brakes, Turbo Irmscher spoiler and K&N panel filter.
I'd have an SE2 or Turbo next time if I had another coupe, which I would it's a great car.

I had an SE2 coupe, it was a nice car but I grew bored of the power.

It wasn't bad for a 1.8 but I wanted more so bought a VX200

Well yeah

I was Really goin for the cupra But it was a my family that said if i buy a cupra and insure it tpft and smash it up i would have lost 6k...So thats what really put me off the whole idea + insurance FC on a cupra is just over 3k...Fook that

So im gonna have to down grade power wise and go for a either 1.8 or 2.2 as i think grp 13 is probs the highest i could go for with my current NCB..

I'm looking to buy a 1.8 coupe in the next few weeks. Have decided on a 1.8 rather than a 2.2 because for me the insurance quotes from same companies differed by at least £600, doesn't seem worth the extra IMO.
