I know this has been asked/answered so many times but i cant be bothered searching through all the endless posts about it (all of which have different answeres anyway)
Right, I have et45 17" alloys, with 205/40/17 Falken tires and i want my car lowering 40mm, I dont think i will need any arch work done to do this but my mate thinks i will.
Can anybody tell me what is needed, if anything, to do this.
Cheers in advance

debatable
some ppl say yes, some say no
for what its worth id take the bolts out of the arches and bond them on
i know u can get away with it as ive had 60mm on the same set up
but id say 4 up in your car with out debolting WILL rub

u might find that the passenger side will rub cos of the gearbox being that side m8, teh weight distribution is on that side, will be fine untill u get someone in the car! thats very rare tho
