Buy a 125 scooter and work on that
Nice simple 2t single cylinder.
apprentship's :
I know two people who have done them one it worked for the other it did not.
Some places take on four apprentice's just to dump 2 of them and leave them stranded.
Think its like £80-£100 a week for a year.
I went to collage and learnt the basics got me no where in life personally then just worked on 2t engines boring tunging etc setting and jetting carbs shit like that.
Some people are mechanically minded and some are not I personally think thats quite an important factor.
I also have a mate who is a good mechanic who will teach me stuff like how diesels work and that alike
Good luck in your quest

do a full time level 1 or 2 nvq.... at your local college.
then with those quals, try and find a placement for day release to complete your level 3, tech cert and ND.
