well thought i would start a project diary, the car was my brothers we owned it for 5 years now getting it as a 1.4 sport it went through various engines from the 1.4 to a well specc'd c20xe and then a c20let!
this is when we first got it (2002)
heres is a few pictures of the car when it was an 2.0 16v - 162bhp 158ft lbs
then my bro fitted the c20let
the engine came with phase 1 chips fitted once it was up and running we put it on the rollers to see what it made
Results were 254bhp 273 ft/lbs it now runs phase 2 chips but hasnt been back on the rollers since fitting it
it was driven round for a year covering 3-4,000miles and a few trips to the pod fastest time being 13.9 @107mph
it was then fitted with a stage 2 hybrid turbo from turbo dynamics
this is were i come into the picture my brother has fucked off to greece to live so i am now a happy chap i get to put some of my own touches to the car!
as it stands now the engine is in bits awaiting a new head (as the previous one cracked and the car has been stood for 2 months awaiting repair)
i am currently waiting on a coscast head to arrive so i can get it rebuilt and fitted!
i have a few parts to fit
1.9mm steel head gasket from regal
4.5Bar fuel pressure Reg
Phase 3.5 Chips
astra vxr injectors
arp head bolts
here are a few recent pictures of the engie before it was taken apart
over the next few weeks i'll be rebuilding the new head putting it all back togther, and then start enjoying it again!!!!

well thougth i would update! car is all up and running now has been for around 10 days now! i was very pleased when it fired up and i saw the oil pressure gauge go to 5 bar
i ve made a few chnages to the car replaced the adjustable fuel pressure reg and vxr injectors with a 4.5bar wallace performnace reg and std injectors and gone to evo 5 chips!
fitted an xe inlet cam and retarded it 8 degrees
replaced some of the boost pipes for larger 2" stainless tubing!
its going really well at the moment cant fault it! but it is a LET and its bound to fuck up sooner or later!
jus waiting on new oil cooler to arrive then i can get that all hooked up!
a nos kit will be odered up before the end of august along with a controller and i will chnage the car back to std bodywork as im growing out of the bodykit tbh
also i am looking to take it for a set up and power run to see what its now making

well had the corsa on the rollers today! and i am very very pleased with the results!
299.76bhp 302ft lbs it made peak power @ 6250rpm
i had the fueling checked, det detection and boost levels checked!
main issue is the intercooler, it really needs a bigger item i, as the charge temps seemed to be increasing higher up the range, but it will only ad 10-20ftlbs if anything!
i have a load of pictures i will upload later on
but i am over the moon
