its a dell inspiron 7500, 15" tft screen, 256mb ram, 6gb hard disk, swapable dvd and zip100 drives, has a built in modem but only 56k one, 2 pcmcia slots available though, so easy to slot in a wireless card
£95 delivered, is that good?

RAM is alittle low, especially as its likely to be onboard graphics so it'll run slowly and 6GB HD is very small these days

just got another message from the person selling it
at moment its running vista pack on xp, i will reformat the system and put xp back on so if you wanted the vista pack back on then i can do that no probs

not worth it IMO
waste of money. RAM is no where near good enough for Vista...and a 6Gb HD is shite
Infact, thinking about it....Vista would take up most of that 6Gb anyway

its not running vista by the sounds of it, running a vista pack on xp, so probs one of those crap skins desinged to look like vista.
and yes stay well clear, low ram, pitifully small harddrive, no doubt processor is pants, £50 if that lol.
can get a new one for £300 these days.

if it was me i wouldn't pay anything for it mate, if you want a laptop save alittle more and buy something decent. its false economy going for the cheaper stuff

dell d600 is a great laptop good memory an graphic an can pick them up for sub £200 now but are a good laptop

acer travel mate 240 if you want a second hand one, good processor and graphics can be had cheap off ebay .
