Hi,
My corsa turbo has started to produce blue smoke. Had the engine in for about 3 months and it had done 68k miles. It happens after accelerating, so when I stop at traffic lights blue smoke pumps out but then it clears after a while- smells like burning oil. Been told it could be the turbo but the car drives fine. Not really sure how to find out what it could be. Any help appreciated.
Thanks

Was hoping it wasn't going to be the turbo. Could it be the valve stem seals?

Could be valve stem seals daz. Is it happeneing when diriving if u come off the throttle and just let it slow under its own steam, does it chuck smoke out then??
Mine went on my corsa and i got another turbo for about £200, look on mig see if someone has one for sale. They can be recconed too im unsure of cost but IIRC it was about £300.
hybrid units can be had for £800 odd larger flow rate

sounds like turbo, seen this a few times on c20lets, if u can id try a mates turbo if u have a mate u can try..
if not go for the turbo re-con rather than a 2nd hand unit unless u can see it running on the car and know that its a good one

he's had the turbo replaced and the problem went away but now has come back and the smoke is getting worse. Surely it cant be the turbo again. Power is fine though.
