I have the converter etc that i need to get it displaying, bu i have a wii on the way Im not sure it will look decent on the screen

1680x1050 is that monitor, the wii can only output 480p

so yes easily more than enough

I'l buy a 360 end of the month then

they're going for about £140-150ish on ebay.. thats a decent price isnt it?
