Me and a friend are putting an Evo vent onto his mini
Basically he asked me to help him out and find out all I could for him, we are doing it on wednesday.
The way i thought it was going to be done would be.
Cut out the hole so the vent can pull the air in.
Put the vent on and bond it down with some silicon or some such.
Get some filler and smooth it all round so it looks half decent.
What I need the info on is what is best to bond it on??
What is the kinda filler that will be needed??
How long should it take??
Is it easy enough to do for a first timer if they are willing to put the effort in??
Cheers everyone, much appreciated.

i'd either rivet it or use tiger seal to bond it on.
if you use tigerseal it'll need a day to take.

Yeah please post pics! This will be worth a laugh!
If the bonnet and vent flex seperatly then the filler will crack and it will look crap. I'd rivet it on (actually I'd never fit one). The quality of the vents you buy is so shite that it will ne a nightmare!
