Well im bored of my sport now, and im in the process of going to break it, now I am pretty sure im going for a 106gti brand new in black for sometime this summer, just wanted to know if im overlooking anything.

Dont want a Saxo because they are common and cant afford to insure anything jap or turbod.

GTi is already going to hammer me with premiums but I can just about manage it.

the 106 gti is a relatively nice lookin car..if u buy new
1. you loose thousands as soon as you drive away..
2. buy a car thats 6 months-1 year old that way you get the car a lot cheaper by up to 2-3 grand(as this is tax)cheaper and still have warranty etc

Yea.... but the 106gti is generally a rare car... I need to find one from a dealer where I can obtain a finance programme to pay for it. Cant really seeing myself finding somewhere with one

1600 f/c 1yr NCB

even if your say 18 with no no claims you could get insured on someone elses policy for cheaper than that

not bad. mate why don't u get a loan from a bank, through ur rents if need be, and get one second hand or even import one, just stumbled accross this... duno bout the company but just an example of how cheap you could get one abroad. http://www.freestylecarimports.co.uk under £9000 with them. I think the UK list is £11700. so quite a big saving. Or for about 9k you could get a 1 year old wiv 12k on the clock. See what sort of deals and finance your local dealer is offering though.
