John Lewis are great but watch out if you have to return something without a reason.
Mum bought a TV and it wasn't right (she didn't realise she'd need a freeview ariel) so took it back for a refund. They wanted to take 10% off as an 'admin charge' and pointed it out in their small print. She went mental and they ended up giving a full refund but that is their policy........without a good reason (like the wrong model that you paid for or its broken) they might take a wad off the cost!

Too damn right. Why would you buy something by mistake?

Small print on the box? Wasn't told by the assistant. Plenty of reasons.
When I worked at Argos for a short time loads of people brought stuff back just because they had changed their minds. If there is nothing wrong with the packaging then why shouldn't they have all their money back?

the seller has no obligation to give any money back if the products not faulty! we wouldnt give any money back in our shop for a reason like that, not our problem, you should of checked first!
(though we do always tell customers they made need a new aeriel, so that covers us, its then up to you if you wanna take the risk)
