I've heard these mentioned over the past couple of weeks in threads where the PCD is wrong on wheels.
Anyone got a link, I don't get how they can work and it's doing my head in

yeah wobble bolts, ill be getting some for the Calibra i think as most of the wheels i like are VW orientated so they are 5x112 and i need 5x110, so ill be using wobble bolts.
Just make sure you use them with a good spigot ring on the centre of the wheel to centre them properly.

i thought people were just taking the piss lol, i wouldnt trust them but thats just me and at 20quid a wheel i woulnt buy them (i beleieve you need four bendy bolts for four stud so a 4 pack per wheel)

They've got a washer on them which means the bolt doesn't have to sit in the middle of the bolt hole, so you can go from 4x98 to 4x100 for example.
I wouldn't use them, I've driven a car with them on and it was awful (it had no spigot rings either though  )

they are absolutely fine if the correct spigots are used to centre the wheel properly, if not it will be similar to driving a car with un balanced wheels, but worse .
they dont work like a cam Dean,
They just have a tapered washer as a normal alloy wheel bolt has with a big hole in so that the bolt can go to one side of the hole of the washer so it threads straight and the washer sits flat against the wheel causing no excess stress or bending of the bolt etc.

because some wheels dont come in the correct fitment exactly, and some wheels are made that poorly that it is safer to use wobbly bolts anyway with the accuracy of the pcd, id rather have a solidly seated taper washer with a wobble bolts, than a stressed and bent standard bolt that is liable to snap.

Surely using wobblys is better than altering the drilling in the wheels too. A lot of wheels don't come in the right fittement for some vehicles.
