an little car with a spanner through it under the engine warning light on the dash means srvice right?
if i service the car how do i turn it off?

usually u have to take it to a dealer and they charge u fortune to flick a computerised switch or summat stupid like that, usually ways round most of them though

its an emissions light, means you have a fault with your emissions system. 90% change it will be the EGR valve (if its a 16v engine that is)

no it is the service light, it needs to be reset at a garage or by someone with some diagnostics gear.
most small garages should reset it for a small fee.
