Can anyone tell me why for no apparent reason the cursor on here moves to a different place from time to time when im typing? Im not pressing the arrow keys by accident, any other reason why it might be doing it?

Was going to say, touchpad. I sometimes do this if I'm trying to type and put the base of my hand on it.

Mine does that, click on the blue "Start" bar, or switch a task, and then revert back to your normal task, and it will work.

my old one used to do that.
Either turn off the touchpad thing and use a mouse (much much much better anyway!) or keep the touchpad clean as is usually some dirt or stuff on it that makes it move.
