When opening a folder on a windows user interface a double left click normally does the job.

Not on mine

A double left click opens a 'search'
To open a folder, right click->open (second option istead of first)

Think this may of happened back when i was using StyleXP and things like that, but i have no idea how to change it to how it should be

How far can you get?

You must have HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT then from there if you don't have Folder you need to make it I would imagine.

Copy and paste all of this in to Notepad and save it as folder.reg

Only of course if you don't already have one - if you do then it could seriously mess things up.
