Coming home from work last night i was driving leisurely around, when this black shadow came flying past me. I saw it was a heavily modded saxo and decided it was time to play. Stopped at some traffic lights, he was in front. He crawled away from the line and then booted it, but there was no getting away from me. Followed him down the road which was national speed limit, saw it was clear in other direction, dropped to 3rd and floored it,. came up alongside, he accelerated but i just popped it into fourth and took off. Just became a small blip in my mirror. Twas a VTR. Was easy meat really.

Nope! Quick enough at the moment. Im saving for a mantzel Inlet system and a decent exhaust. Gotta save for me holiday first though !

I used to drive a vtr, and it was quick, but not fast - if that makes sense. It was nippy, and picked up well, but top end and mid range power wasn't brilliant....id prefer a corsa sport/16v sri anyday of the week.

Well I can beat the 1.1's in my 1.2 8v and supposedly the 1.1 is faster.

1.1 8v MPi Saxo is the same as the 1.2 16v Corsa to 50, after that the Corsa pulls away.

But the SPi 1.1 Saxo is veerryy slllooww

i beat a 1.8 gulf in my 1.4si was quite proud also beat a saxo with 5 in my car

I regularly WHOOP down on saxo boys in my 1.4 16v sport, got induction kit, zorst, after a de-cat too if any1 can help???????

My 1.4 16v always beats VTR's! It's not fun anymore!!
