IMO Better for Celtic, put 2 past AC Milan, a much better foe than Lyon

excellent result for celtic. i knew milan would be at the most vunerable they've been for some time, and the conditions didnt make our game easier. take nothing away from celtic tho...even though on review, they didn't seem that great, defo missed nakamura.

with regards to the incident....FPMSL. i dont expect anything less from the crazy scotts! Think he wound up dida, and more than anything was probably playing for time. hope they dont get too punished as they deserved the 3 points.

Neither team played that great, our back 4 were solid though which is the first time i could say that this season.

I doubt it'll mean the points getting taken off us but i just hope they realise it was 1 idiot and doesn't reflect on the fans as a whole!

I never questioned the fact we'd be punished? The bottle throwing incident is contentious as well but anyway.

The points won't be deducted, if they decide to fine us fair enough i'd be kicking up a stink if we went to Milan and some loony ran on towards Boruc, won't be guilty of double standards.

Agreed, the fact Milan's manager and technical director have said the result is the result goes in our favour.

they would close the crowd to fans before they deducted points...just look at past incidents such as those between AC and Inter the other season.

yes it was a penatly

a very harsh penalty, but that ref was the ref who gave holland 2 penalties against italy in euro2000. so he's quite pro-penalty, gives the benefit to the attacker it would seem

He's a shite referee and that's not just based on last night, he acts very weirdly on the pitch a lot of the time.

There was no over reaction from the Milan players at the penalty and the crowd were actually baffled rather than angry at the decision.

yes when watching it on tv i thought he blew for an offside or something as the whistle sounded early. but showing the replay, it was a good spot...but many refs wouldnt give it

Guy that slapped Dida has handed himself into Strathclyde police and apologised to Celtic, again should hopefully go in our favour.
