I've got some pretty awful coloured tiles in my kitchen and am thinking of painting them.
IS tile paint any good or does it end up looking crap?

Looks poor. You could get coloured tiles for £8 a box when i did my bathroom a couple of years back. Not sure how many was in a box - think 30 tiles or so.

I done it in my 1st house....As long as you prime and take your time looks ok as a short measure fix etc..Only thing you don't have the grout pattern inbetween tiles...But yeah can look ok if done right but it's no long term soloution.

It will probably look wank, but just how wank depends on the texture of the tiles tbh. Also if you paint over the grout it will look worse. best to just start from scratch with new tiles as you'll only be disapointed.

It is ok at first, i did it in my flat in bathroom, you just gotta be careful when cleaning them.
Bascily clean the tiles with sugarsoap, then use a gloss mini roller to apply, keep doing thin coats rather than 1 thick coat.
Tbh i would just tile over the top of existing tiles if you want a quick fix...
