Tevez is over rated IMO.
He is a good player, but the figures banded about for his value, and the goals he will bring in dont match up IMO.

Both he and Mascherano have been hyped up since the WC and their arrival in the UK. If it hadn't been for all this they would be seen on their performances, which shows players with potential.

tbh, from the hype I would of wanted Tevez (and probably still would as he could link up well with Torres IMO).
After seeing them both in the Prem though, Im glad we got Masch over him.

hes still unproven at the moment, settling into man utd and how we play
you can see week in week out hes improving, give him until the end of the season and i think we'll see alot better from him

Yeah, he certainly looks like he could be a decent player.
But he certainly doesnt look like a £20m+ player, let alone a £30m+ which is said MSI want when this loan deal finishes.

I meant some take a few seasons to show their quality and others just never live up to their price tags.
Rio has only shown how good he is in past few years, Shevchenko may show his worth given more regular football, or he could be an average player with a £30m price tag.

As a spurs fan i know we wasted 16m on him , and i was happy with Keane, Defoe and Berb, but the yids felt like wasting some money and found the right player to waste it on

Tevez has something that most strikers dont have... desire to win the ball.
He plays every minute like it's stoppage time of a cup final.
Absolutely superb.
