how do you do it?

if thats what your asking, i think when you first switch it on and you have the dashboard, click on your gamertag/profile bit

nope you can change it,

switch on the xbox and it should go to the dashboard, press a (your gamertag, rep and gamerscored should be highlighted)

itll bring up a menu, go down to account management and press

a new menu should come up, go down to windows live id

voila

edit: actually your kinda right, windows live id only lets you change your password, if you go into contact information you can change it

Yeah, I rung up Xbox live and even they wont change it.
It's only an email anyway, who cares? Please dont say for MSN on the 360, cos thats poor.

no its cos i changed email and dont want all my details going to my old email they are poor
