With a bit of hacking I have got my TV card to work under Vista with some dodgy home made drivers I found
I only want to watch Sky on my PC, but my Sky box transmits an analogue signal out of it's RF 2 plug on the back. Can Media Centre play back an analogue signal? It only seems to play back digital which I don't want.

Yepp, though the drivers I'm using might be a bit shit as Hauppauge don't do drivers for my card, even though they say they do.

You use vista 64 bit don't you?
Theres a good chance it could be driver related if its dodgy drivers.

Well, I used to run 32bit, but I scratched the DVD. I borrowd a DVD off of a mate and only just realised it was 64bit when I had got everything up and running apart from the TV card
It's probably the drivers if Media Centre does do analogue channels. I thought on the off chance it might just ignore them. Been a while since I have used it.

Yea, must be dodgy drivers. Interestingly I have got better compatibility with my other stuff with 64bit than I was experienceing with 32bit when I tested it out a few months back. Plus it works well with my CAD stuff. New TV card is in order I think
