Just a VIN Plate really, but will detail the exact impreza model on there and you can look the codes up.

of the top of my head i think GC8FE4D is a standard STi Version 5.

Here is our old one.. http://www.trackscotland.co.uk/projects/impreza.htm

Sold a few months back for 9.2k i think

Very nice example (not just biased) extensive history with photo file etc. 50k miles when sold... no problems what so ever. Others than wear and tear obvioulsly. Tyres, Clutch suspension (replaced old coilovers with new Tein ones)

We left the engine std bar an exhaust and one cat out. If you dont want to spend heaps, get a standard one, with history and be sensible with your mods. Dont whip boths cats out without a remap, dont increase boost without a remap.

We ran optimax + NF race all the time.

Brilliant car, absalute weapon on back roads.

0-60 4.3 seconds, 300bhp standard etc etc

Only niggle i had with it was the gearing on long journeys. TIRESOME but thats a trade off for its sheer pace through gears

where did you get that number from? it doesnt appear to mean anything.

the VIN plate should show :

VIN GC8-xxxxx
Applied model GC8E4ED (This is STi 4)

Option code xxx
Trim code xxx
colour code xxx
engine type EJ20xxxxx
Transmission type TYxxxxxxx

so no idea what that number you are quoting means?
