Very interesting article on money making in this weeks money saving tips from money saving expert:
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/protect/make-money
Does anyone really try to actively save/make money?
I'm quite good with money and once i've paid off the small outstanding credit card balance I have, I'm going to start putting a decent amount away each month into my ISA.
Does anyone have any tips/thoughts?

P.s. This could be in house day but I thought a wider audience might benefit.

I usually put £800 away every month. i put it into an account with as high interest as possible, then when every April 1st comes around....i bung 3k of it into my existing ISA
I'm now at the stage where the interest on my ISA pays for my car insurance and winter sports insurance every year Happy Days
EDIT - i also do alot of work aswell as my day job which pays for stuff like petrol for my car. I havent paid for petol out of the money i earn for my day job for months.
I call these savings accounts my Australia fund

That guide looks like a joke TBH - some of them are far fetched like renting your house for film sets, and others pointless like earning 1% on things. Money makes money, I always believe this - I like to dabble and invest in plenty of ideas and business plans. The minute you become stagnant then your on a downward turn.
