heya all, got a chrome gear gaitor surround, now how is the bottom of the gear gaitor held in place and it still look tidy?, do i put the screws through the gaiter material? theres nothing to hold the gaiter material in place

I had one in my Corsa but couldn't use the standard gaiter. Had a Richbrook one on mine.

y cudnt u use stnadard one? and how did u secure the gaiter down?

Gaiter comes with a wire that you slide into it, gives the bottom a rigid rim which is held by the surround when you screw it down.

What he said ^ Standard one sits to high. You need one that will sit lower than the surround.

Mine didn't I just stretched it around the base of the gear stick then put the surround on to hide it all. Looked ok.
