I have David Powell in Cell A1. I want Excel to sort it so I have David in cell A2 and Powell in cell A3... how?

Select cell A1 then go

data > text to columns

Select "delimited" then next.

Then select "space" checkbox then next.

Then in destination type "=$A$2:$A$3" then Finish. Done.
