OK, this is the light that was on (artists impression )
It was the diagnostic computer that said it was the air con, the reason for him taking it to get checked was this light being on
When I looked at the car it wasn't on, test drove it & it was fine. Drove pretty much all the way home & it was fine. On the last leg of the journey it came back on.
Took it back out again about 15 mins after getting back & it was off again
So I guess I need to know what the light means, and what could possibly need doing to fix it

Coolant Temp Sensor, was just a guess as it could be anything coolant related really. I take it the coolant is topped up?

it will be a fault with the coolant module
its located in the nearside corner of the front bumper
it contols the speed of the fans you have 2 speeds on the rad fan and another fan with 2 speeds on the air con condenser
if you can be bothered to come over to sunny malton I can investigate it further

Malton? Thats out near York yeah? Or Selby?
Is it easy to replace, or is it one of thes faults that need the computer on it to delete the fault?

they don't go wrong often but when they do its normally a replacement module needed
will price it up tom
(worst case sen)!!!!
