I've got a samsung U600 and I bought a 4gb memory card for it (Micro SD)
i can plug it into my laptop and put music on it but when i put the card in my phone it recognises it but wont let me access the memory stick. it says format now, i press yes and it says failed. i say no and it does nothing

i dont know what to do with it, anyone had a similar problem?

On the laptop, make sure its formatted so that the phone can read it - FAT32?

You should've formatted it in the phone first before you do anything so it sets up the correct filing structure.

You should be able to stick it in your phone. Go into your setting and find the 'format memory card' option. It should work, but sounds like you're having issues.

If anything, I'd go with the card and phone to the place you bought it and tell them and let them sort it. If it's somewhere like carphone warehouse then they'll have a crack or just give you a new card I imagine.

u600 only supports cards up to 2gb
