how hard is it to drop a bigger engine into a corsa c 1.0 12v

i mean a engine from another corsa c, say 1.2 16v etc

whats involved, wiring wise??

and will the 1.0 12v gearbox mate upto the 1.2 16v engine ?

From what I've seen, even another corsa engine can be a nightmare to fit in terms of wiring...ask chazsxi on here

i guess ill need, engine, loom, ecu, transponder etc

but the wiring issure is worrying me

Im not sure if the immobiliser and such cause problems

So in theory ANY engine swap will cause the same problems

im pretty sure i will need engine ancillary's ecu and transponder chip, same as a corsa b

i need sure answers ont he wiring etc

tried corsa c, no help

Something to do with the canbus/cambus (cant remember which its called) system. Dave A and beardy were having a chat about it on here a month or so ago, could be worth searching for.

Why bother changing the engine then

Even if the current ones fucked just replace with the same motor
