Built a new PC for my brother... AMD X2, Geforce 8600 something or other, memory, a hard disk...

Ubuntu installed and worked fine

Idiot just bought Vista 64bit

Install DVD just goes into a boot-loop happy days

If it has more than 3gb of RAM its a known issue.

Knock it down to 2gb during install and it will be ok.....

They have released a fix but you have to remake the install discs
