Hi at the minute ive got a 600 watt boss amp running this sub
SONY-XSL101P5
10" Pentagon subwoofer Max power 1100w 300 w rms
Ive been told boss amps are crap and was wondering what amp would anyone recommend me to use

well, dont always beleive what people tell you. Ive got the 1000watt boss sounds amp - and that powers my two 15" subs better then the well branded amp i had before. If its to run a sub remember that it does not need to have any clearness, as sub is just low signal, and that will be the same usually, if that makes sense.
The power is the well matched, 600w into a 1000w sub is fine.
If you do want a different amp, then id be tempted to say get the vibe vp3 amp - looks and sounds very good....and can power the most powerfull of subs!
