Dad's Cavalier and Vectra used to have a parking light. When you put the indicator into left/right position, that side of the cars side lights light up.
My Corsa doesn't have it, and I occasionally have to park it on the side of the round outside my house.
1) Can it be wired in easily, or it is a bit difficult?
2) How long should these parking lights be left on?

I always wondered about that, as I remember when doing my theory test about four years ago now, that there is a law which is something along the lines of:
'When parked on a 40 mph limit road or above after dusk, parking lights must be used on the side of the car furthest from the kerbstone' or something along those lines.

It might be to do with the idicator stalk? Try getting a cavvyone and fitting it?

I was thinking and hoping this, as it'd be easier - I just wondered about all the other wiring though.
Surely it'd be another loom or 2? Does anyone know. . .

Well logically the indicator stalk is acting as the switch so in theory if you could run the correct wires to it it should work as it does on a cav

But I'm worse than shockingly bad at wiring, was hoping it'd be something easy. I wonder why they didnt fit it on Corsa's. Mine's a GLS as well, so not exactly basic.
