where i work
we use excel spreadsheets all the time now the problem is lately trying to open them has been like pulling teeth, they are in a shared folder everyone can get access to but they just wont open quickly
no spreadsheet has reached its full capacity? so whats the cause of my problem??

sounds like your network is shit, how big is the file? how long are we talking? if its like 5mins+ it could be a dns issue

well we are down to one server here as we are the last ones in the building before we move and the files are all above say 20 thousand entries
