Firstly at the baiting. Secondly, i disagree completely, he took a side from the SPL to a European final something that won't get the credit it deserves for another 50 years which is most likely around the same time it'll happen again. He did superb at Leicester as well something they're only really now realising, they shouldn't be winning any of the cups at all tbh. Villa given time will be challenging as well it's just that the Premiership is a far tougher league now than it was when he left, i don't even know if he'd entertain the England job now or if he feels he has bigger fish to fry.

McLeish is doing fine cosmo,

as i said, why does every1 always blame the managers?

the reason Scotland have a shit squas is because of the likes of renager and celtic,

buying up and decent school boy plaers and throwing them in the second team, so no1 else can buy them to chellenge them

thus leaving half the best scottish players in second teams and a load of foreigners playing the game

McLeish is doing a fine job, if he had the players he's already shown he can make a good team.

I really don't want a foreign manager, but the English options are no great improvement on Mclaren. Would like it to be mourihno but dunno if he'll want the hassle, just hope to god its not Shearer or Klinsman.

Just said on SSN that Redknapp is interested, but the Portsmouth board have said they would reject any approach.

It has everything to do with the manager, did Walter Smith and later McLeish not take the same squad as Vogts and make them into a half decent team?

Correct the blame lays at McLarens door and to a much lesser extent the players playing for him. McLeish is the right man for the job in Scotland as was Smith before him. Vogts was hounded out a couple of years ago, some people obviously have short memories.
