My corsa done this due to the alt belt slipping, so it will be something to do with your alternator.
Did you drive through a huge puddle?

no i havent drove through any big puddles but for the past few days it hasnt stopped raining where i have been driving so i suppose that could of dont something?
is there anything you did to fix the problem or just got to take its cause and let it dry out?
did your cars lights dim very slightly for second when this happened too?
Cheers

hi mate first check belt tension on the corsa should be pre tensioned
poss it could be a brake in the warning light wire to alternator or worst case will be the alternator ready to give in hope this helps
