my corsa 1.6 16v is burning alot of oil. any advice on what i could do to fix it??

new piston rings or valve stem oil seals.

Iwould say piston rings as there is praps lack of compression when its cold causing a misfire , but when it gets hot the piston expands and builds up just enough compression making the bore alot tighter,

waters fine. runs great when hot. will it make any difference if i take induction kit off.

i would only use panel filters on that engine any way

need to buy a standard air box. if it is piston rings wil i need to get block rebored and get oversized pistons?

i would just look for some one selling an engine or just put a red top in it mate, a rebore will cost alot

can get a 1.6 16v or 2.0 8v which would be better?

ctick with the 1.6, ur only gona gain about 10 bhp on the 2.0 8v, and you will need to get conversion parts
