What have you done in your houses/flats etc? My walls are all white, but I fancy an odd wall in red or something, most of my furniture is black, white/cream, silver and pale woods. If you have any pics of nice colour schemes that would be cool.

Red white and black would look great

I re-decorated my room recently and went with a 'chocolately' scheme. I haven't got pics atm, can take some if you want.
Basically I've got the ceiling white, the coving a deep brown, 3 walls without the window are 'cookie dough' (a lighter brown) and the wall with the window on is a very light brown, almost cream. With a cream blind. Will get pics to make more sense.
I prefer a colour scheme, rather than random colours.

I've got a few things in red now, cushions etc... Not sure which wall I'd do tbh. Will post some pics in a min.

I'd do the kitchen wall in the bottom pic and the small one next to it, at 90 degrees, before the door probably.

If you do the wall with the window in, the room will look dark, should always do the one opposite it with the darkest colour if you can, according to most of the DIY programmes on TV

Ah ha thats what I wanted to avoid as it feels quite light and spacious at the moment, but toooo plain.
Red around the kitchen was one idea I had too, make it a different area if you know what I mean.

Would look quite snazzy against the black cupboards and shiny splashbacks too.

Really need to do something under the cupboards though. Worktops and splashbacks are all brushed stainless steel

Shows you what the true colour is like. I like it very much.
