Z20LET's Have a different dump valve to the C20LET, hence why they make 2 different valves for these engines....hence y i have the dump valve specificly designed for my engine.....i drive about 80 miles a day and have not had any "juddering, hesitance" and it idles fine, tbh it runs exactly the same as it did without it. there was only one dump valve manufactured for the Z20LET and that was the Bailey DV26 "D"

its nothing to do with the valve i assure you. Regal orignally fitted mine when previous owner had it.
If you do a search on AOC you will find anyone who has gone from DV back to the original REcirc valve has reaped the benefits

untill mine gives me any problems i shal leave it as it is tbh.....suimply because i cant be arsed to take apart the old one again unless i really have to....maybe ill take it off when i get my hardpipe

if your having no problems stick with it
There are one or 2 on aoc who have no problems, i however am VERY glad its gone
Just need some snowflakes now

funny lol cos i dont get none of the jerkyness on my gsi, seems to run sweet with it on, mean mine seems to be more noticable when you hit boost aswell proper kick in revs but did not when was not fitted, im on origional turbo to

Agreed....they do sound wank on the Z20LET, unless your getting a decent amount of boost like me
