Sounds EXACTLY the type of player we need
I had read he scored a fair few goals from full back but wondered if that was nonsense.
Whats this debt carry on at Corinthians? I'm reading the manager wanted to build a team around him but is being forced to sell as they have moajor debts that threaten the future of the club?

Well the ex-president, Alberto Dualib, secured loans against Corinthians, and recently got arrested and found guilty of corruption, so now the federal commitee's in Brazil are taking the compensation from the club and not Dualib, so although getting relegated is bad merit-wise, it's what we need in order to save more money, as players wages will be less etc...
Now we can re-build.
I would have thought Menezes would build a team around Lulinha to be honest but he's expected to go to Chelsea in January so pretty pointless now.

Hasnt he just signed a new contract though with a big buyout clause in it?

He pledged his future to Corinthians, with a contract extension but that won't put off many big clubs because he's class to be fair.

I dont class Chelsea as having debt until Roman goes, as until then they could be billions in debt and it wouldnt matter. When he walks away though its another story.
