I have taken out a x14xe out of my corsa b and put a x16xe in its place, everything runs fine havnt chaged the loom, ecu etc. i am wondering if it would pass a MOT still under a X14xe?

Yes, the emissions test will be the same if thats what your worried about. to be honest they probably wont even notice its a different engine, ive never had the engine number read from mine at any MOT (but that might just be me because im mates with the garage owner)

I have never known an mot tester check an engine number!

only time i would ever check the engine number is if its was its first mot, so it should be fine
