Hey all
Well i just spent the year 2007 living with 2 mates renting a house. We kept it in good condition and we moved out on the 31st of Dec. We had the inspection today and have been told that we will be getting all £1600 of our deposit back.
My question is, now they;ve done the inspection and said were getting the money back, once the cheques cleared and we have it back in our accounts they can't then find something say 2 weeks down the line and blame us and make us pay for it?
Reason i ask is that there were a few things we though they would pick up on but haven't obviously, such as a little ink stain on my carpet, i covered it in carpet cleaner but after its dried for like 2 weeks its visible again. Now they didn't see it now so if they see it 2/3 weeks later they cant charge us can they?
