Does anyone know if the Video Pack is a must for phones (more so the N95)? As i wouldn't use anything that the pack offers, certainly not the video calling minutes (don't know anyone to video call )
cheers all

It's more of a pricing structure thing than a video pack thing. Some kind of legal reason why they can't advertise it as that though
I know a way around it, but not 100% sure it'll work every time

It just seems a little bit on the false advertising side of things - the tarrifs look great, but they sting you with this add-on pack, that isn't actually an add-on because you HAVE to have it
If it's the case i have to have it then it doesn't seem that much cheaper than other networks
Also, can you upgrade your tarrif? If so whats the wait time to do so? And same on the downgrade of tarrifs?

You can go up at any point, can't go down.
Go into a store, have them credit check you on a basic handset (that requires no video pack)
After the result of the credit check, the next page asks for handset details. If you click "change handset" & pick one with a video pack (say N95) it doesn't add the video pack. If you chose that to start off with it'd ask to either add it or ask for an upfront price
The risky part is the person in the shop might just do a new credit check with the new handset & VP. Depends how on the ball the person is
