well ive been out in my car for a couple hours and noticed something wrong with it.
when im in any gear and in low revs and i put the fut down or accelerate hard it will lose power for like a second or two then give off a noise i can only think sounds like when the sump scrapes of the floor over a high speed bump.
like i said its only in low revs but in any gear sounds like metal scraping but it only makes the scraping noise for like half a second
its a L reg 1.4sri 8v
any ideas guys?

oh yeah another thing, ive had a quick look under the car and theres oil down the front of the sump but my light dosent come on

its because you have lexus light....
on a more serious note, where does the scraping noise come from? possibly adjust clutch?

oil ligh doesnt come on till its empty
find the leak fix it top the oil up see how it goes
probably not that but worth a try

When you said it bogs down, I initially thought AFM, but 1) Not sure if your engine has one 2) It doesn't generally make a noise.
My car sometimes makes a high pitched noise when I'm rolling slowly, and try to pull off in 2nd. Just think it's the clutch

i cant realy tell where its coming from as i only notice it when im driving, it sounds like its coming from the drivers side of the engine lol.
ill hunt for the oil leak and fix that and top it up
P.S. i dont have lexus lights any more, i have these
