can a dodgy map sensor be causing my car not too start

its trying too but it just wont

and then when i whacked the sensor with a screw driver it started (maybe a co-incidence thats why im posting this thread )

I would think it would start and either run poorly or give you dash lights.

yea dash light is on and fault code reads map sensor but wasnt sure if it would cause it not too start

cheers guys will order one 2 morra through work
