Anyone on here running a gased engine?
Whats it like to insure a car with gas for the road? Im looking into setting up a bottle for the ibiza. Will a normal gas bottle do as the NOS ones seem silly money
any more info would be nice

legally you need to have a sticker on your car for compressed gas. insurance will go up but i dont think they cover you for use on the roads.

Use a WON kit.
Pointless on the road imo, the gains dont last long enough.
Best off for 1/4 mile, or track use if you can afford the refills.

Whats a WON kit?
Im not street racer, i think my cars plenty fast enough for what i use it. But i would like abit more power when i visit Santa Pod or when im out on the stages. TBH i don't think i'd use it that often, but nice to have if i can setup a kit cheapish.

Because there the best kits.
Best solenoids etc.
Its still the cheapest way to get power

Found a guy who works at WON and can sort out better prices
Going to try and source as much as possible second hand and i'll do all the fitting myself.

Stages? What stages? I don't think you can use nitrous in rally events and hillclimbs. Pretty sure it is only Quarter Miles you can "officially use it"

not for competition, you dont have to be competing to drive on the stages
