leave car running for ages(10-15mins) mine usually moves
wait to see til alternator comes on

drove about 70 miles earlier, didn't move, left ticking over whilst i was speakin to someone, fan came on so temp was quite hi but gauge never moved, thank you icy!

doesnt usually move when drivin dont think coz u got air goin thru grill to cool engine down etc

it used to a bit!, now it is always resting at it's lowest point.............

i dunno thats all id do sorry
jus sit in car let engine run for 15mins or so see if it moves but u sed urs doesnt so..

earth the wire from the sender on the block out and see if the gauge moves if it does then you need a sender if not possibly a dash.

more than likely the sender tho mate, but i would change it for a GM/Vaux unit cos these ones from halfords usually dont send properly
