well after having probs with my car ive found out its bcause theres very little oil in the car, my oil light never came on and im wondering if theres a way to check the oil sensor or something like that.

ive just topped it up with oil, about 2 litres just now and my exhaust is smoking like mad
is this normal? im gonna let it sit for a while then check the oil again

If its smoking i bet you've over filled it!
Do you never check the oil or something? If it needed 2L's in, it was Seriously low.
There is no oil level light/sensor.

lol yeah i do check my oil but its using a hell of a lot and i didnt think it would need some so soon, just been out in it and it dosent smoke as much now
i put about 2 litres in and its on max on the dipstick
another thing i noticed was 1 of my spark plugs on the right hand side had the rubber bit of it, could that be why its losing power?
im gonna get it into a garage on monday so hopefully get it all fixed

The corsa doesnt have a level sensor, It has a low pressure sensor but that doesnt come on until pressure is below about 6psi so its no good relying on that to tell you when you need oil, by then it will be too late!

oh yeah forgot to mention, my engine magement light came on when i was just outin it
it didnt stay on just comes on now and again
i take it ill need to do a paper clip test?

well just been out in my car for about 20 mins, got about 5 miles out of town and the thing breaks down, total loss of power after 5mph
judders like fck and sounds like my exhaust wants to go bang
cost me £40 to get it took home 5 miles away
