Last night my Xobox scratched my PES 2008 disc, only had the game 3 days Could I take it back and will they replace it? Got it from Game.
On another note if i put a disc into the tray it Can't load the disc and starts making a huge rubbing noise.
It's 3 weeks after a year old

done the same with my last 360 as i moved the computer when it was still running 
Phone mircosoft and they will replace the 360 and probley the game

They extended the warranty by two years only for the 3 red lights problem.
A. WARRANTIES
One Year Express Warranty on Console (Three Years for Three Lights Flashing Red). Subject to the terms and conditions of this Limited Warranty, Microsoft warrants to you only (the original retail purchaser) that, during the Warranty Period and under normal use and service, the Xbox® Console will substantially conform with the printed user instruction materials packaged with the Console.
90 Day Express Warranty on Accessories. Subject to the terms and conditions of this Limited Warranty, Microsoft warrants to you only (the original retail purchaser) that, during the Warranty Period and under normal use and service, the Accessory will substantially conform with the printed user instruction materials packaged with the Console or Accessory (unless a separate written express warranty is packaged with the particular Accessory).
To get it fixed by MS it will probably cost you the standard £85. You are better doing off what me brother did and buying a new console from asda and swapping the console and power supply over.

oh well mine still has no red lighht
just got a premium with 1 wireless controller and 4 games, forza 2, fifa 08, harry potter and Halo 3 for £260
how much could i sell these controllers for as I alread have 2 and i alrdy have a 20 gb HDD.
Do you think anyone would wanna buy the broken console?

Mine did that exact same thing friday night, except it was cod3 got scratched. Same age console, got it boxing day 2006! Told game i bought it december last year and they thought i meant 2007 so gave me a new console.
Sale of goods act, that console should last 'a reasonable period' i.e. more than a year! so microsoft should fix it under those conditions and laws.
