hmm... interesting, tho the initial loading time suggests its uncompressing a lot / has stored certain things in binary format rather than in it's native graphic format. also repetition of objects / locations / design, etc... its just created code for say a object (like a class) and used it all over the place etc.
Most convential games have large files containing large amounts of textures, large amounts of models and usually also large map files or 3d objects for scenery style maps, and this all combined = the big size.
tho i was impressed with the real time lighting although basic functioned!
