i need a new lamber sensor but i have a custom race exhaust manifold and the standard lamber sensor for some reason makes the car run lumpy.
any one got any ideas?
its running without one at the moment.

What do you actually need to know?
Are you saying its a different fitment for your manifold, or asking if its your lambda giving you problems?
not sure I understand the question tbh.

my lamber sensor is not the standard one and i need to change it as it got water init and it fried my wireing loom. changed the wireing loom but cant connect the lamber sensor cus it will fry the loom again.
a standard sensor for some reason doesnt work.
the one thats fitted is alot bigger than the standard one but i cannot get my hands on another one.
the car runs fine without it. but fuel consumption is crap.
are there any websites that i could have a look at?

What manifold is it?
Where is the lambda sensor mounted?

it was made by an exhaust company, unknown as it was fitted when i brought the car. the sensor was mounted in one outlet so i had it moved to where the manifold meets the cat

it was only reading the gases coming out of no 2 cylinder and none of the other 3.
it needs to read all 4 cylinders.

it worked ok but was down on performance and fuel economy.
it is running amazingly really good without the lamber sensor but have been told that my cat will heat up alot quicker, got back last nite from abit of a trek and the cat was glowing, as it was that hot

It will work fine.
But should that one cylinder go mega rich for some reason, the ecu will spot it, and lean off the WHOLE engine=bye bye engine
GsiRick-Your problem is the lambda isn't working right down in the manifold collector as the gases are too cold there. You need a internally heated lambda sensor.
