Is there any do's and don't for these?
http://www.dja121.plus.com/I&P.html
I might be after one for my Astra 2.0 DTI but all the pipe work is different.

Anyone have any links that might help out?

steve is right, a huge intercooler with low boost will act as a restriction. matching IC size with boost levels is important.

what size is the one you have on it just now?
Do you have an idea of inlet temps? (maplin normally sell wee LCD temp displays that you can hook up pre TB to see how well the IC is working)
Good for a before and after comparison.
When we changed the Punto IC the inlet temps fell a fair bit. The IC wasnt overly big, but was a decent size.
I changed the IC on the skyline GTSt too... with hindsight that was too big a change, but i had plans to increase boost.
How much more boost are you hoping for by choping the turbo?

yup, that does look quite small...
If the fit and quality of the medium one is good, prob go for that.
Actually
They arent that big going by guess hand measurements of "'s... The large will prob be ok if its fits well

but 7" high by 27" (21.5" core ) is roughly 18cm x 68cm
So similar height, but a fair bit wider. prob nearly double the surface area
PS - how on earth can the core size be greater than the total size

He hight is the same but the length is different by 15cm.
Plus if i lay it flat it'll all be used instead of 1/4 of it.
Thats if it fits
